How to be SAVED, BORN AGAIN, and GOING TO HEAVEN

God's Word in English, the King James Bible - the Christian bible - has the only true gospel of salvation. The Lord, Jesus Christ, explained salvation to Nichodemus like this, "except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) He said, "that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." (John 3:6)

All of us have been born of the flesh. But to be "born of the Spirit", to be "Saved" and to "Go to Heaven", a person MUST be BORN AGAIN.

How Can You Be BORN AGAIN?

Repent. "Repent" sounds like one of those religious words that many say, but few can tell you what it actually means. The bible provides a definition for it in II Chronicles 7:14. It says, "If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." That is what repenting is!

Recognize that you have sinned in that you have transgressed (i.e. broken) God's Law (Romans 3:23), that the penalty for that "sin" is death (Romans 6:23), and that you can do nothing to pay for your own sins, because all of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags in his sight (Isa 64:6). Salvation is not by works lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8,9).

Therefore, decide and determine now to turn away from your sinful life. God gives grace to those who seek Him (Heb 11:6).

Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose again in full payment for your sins (Rom 10:9,10) (I John 1:7-9). Your job is to accept that payment, acknowledging that you are not able to pay for yourself, nor by yourself. (Payment on your own would cost you eternity in Hell - an unaffordable price - like making payments on a loan or mortgage at an interest rate that is too high to ever be paid off).

Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, to come into your heart and to cleanse you from your sin (Acts 4:12). Ask Him to be the Lord and Saviour of your life. (Rom 10:9,10)

When you do this, Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Ghost (Matt 3:11) whereby you are baptized into the body of Christ (I Cor 12:13) and sealed with the holy Spirit of promise. (Eph 1:13; 4:30)

What Next?

1. Tell someone that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord. (Matt 10:33) (Phil 2:11) email_us, if you would, so we can rejoice with you and help you in your new walk of faith.

2. Study the bible (King James Authorized Bible) and allow God's Holy Spirit to speak to you through His Word. (II Tim 2:15)

3. OBEY HIS WORD:

(John 8:31-32)

31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(John 14:21)

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

4. Remember: Everyone fails and falls into sin from time to time, but if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9) As we seek to become more like Him, He gives us the desire and the ability to live righteously. (Phil 2:13)
