1. Thanks for the video link.  I actually have had those videos in my archive for a long time, because I try to stay current on what people are saying about issues that I consider to be important.  And I have studied the apparent contradictions in them over a period of many years now. 

 

2. If you review the three emails I have sent to you, you should notice a basic pattern:  you have challenged what I obviously believe to be God's ONLY word in English, I have responded to each of the issues you raised and have methodically demonstrated how the "problem" as you saw it was NOT a problem after all, and that, in fact, the King James' rendering was correct and that the new versions were in error – in EVERY case.  I included documentation, evidence and scriptural authority.  Not surprisingly, you have responded: 

 

a. with complete silence to most of that evidence and analysis,

 

b. with unsupported reiteration of dogma to some of it, and

 

c. with continuation of criticism in other areas in an attempt to maintain support for your current beliefs – or the beliefs of those people you currently respect and trust. 

 

3. Undoubtedly, you expected me to collapse under the shock of (a partial list) of archaic words, contractions as blatant as those of Act 22:9 (the men hearing a voice), and errors like that in Acts 12:4 (inclusion of Easter).  These were pretty slam-dunk proofs that the King James Bible is not the pure and perfect word of God, right? 

 

4. Well, I trust that you will research the issues in these videos and will find them to be more of the same.  There are actually an awful lot more so-called 'contradictions' and 'archaic' words in the King James Bible than you have even begun to show me.  (I have researched every one of them that I have been able to find.)  Most of them have been around for a long time; only a few have been fabricated recently, to my knowledge.  I am sure you know that documenting responses to such things takes considerable time.  But there are websites that have taken the time to document them – a few here and a few there. 

 

5. I care about you and about God's word.  That is why I have documented what I have so far for you.  Much of the evidence in my responses is irrefutable even as I have presented it, and yet there is much more that could be added.  Obviously, I do not have the time to document all of the evidence that would be necessary to refute the list of criticisms in these videos.  But, I have put you well on your way already to knowing that God's word CAN be trusted and IS pure and IS perfect exactly as it claims to be; and if you can't acknowledge that, then I would really be wasting my time by even trying, wouldn't I?
